Annual Salary: $66,000 - $88,000

Position

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for managing the daily functions of the Human Resource department including; the oversight, administration and coordination of employment, employee relations, benefits, complaints and problem resolution.

HR Generalist will:

• Provide assistance and counsel to management on employee relations issues.
• Administer, coordinate, and track approved LOA's, L&I, light duty, and Worker's Compensation programs.
• Assist in managing employee records and employment documents, including but limited to, onboarding, benefits and termination documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic principles and practices of human resources.
• Previous employee relations experience, including but not limited to, assisting management with the administration of progressive disciplinary policies and investigating and responding to employee concerns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse workforce.
• Capable of working and interacting with all employee levels; both internal and external business partners.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and uphold the ethical standards of the company.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tack, professionalism and diplomacy.
• Customer-centric focus and advanced customer service skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Education:

Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field.

Associates degree (AA) plus two years of exempt-level experience may be used in lieu of above requirement.

Preferred Experience:

• Three to five years of prior HR experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior work experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry preferred.
• Expert user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
• Prior experience with a Payroll or HRIS databases preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

PHR or SHRM certification preferred.

Pay

SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay ranges may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
